Training

Training is a hallmark of the Waffle House system. Training begins the first day of employment and continues throughout your career. All new management trainees participate in a specialized training program consisting of a unique combination of workbook, on-the-job and classroom training.

Compensation Plan

The Waffle House restaurant manager is paid a base salary along with performance bonuses. Unit Managers share in the profits of their restaurant. You control your destiny regarding compensation, since bonuses are based on performance. Many different types of bonuses are available, which supplement the base salary.

Waffle House Stock

You can also build wealth through acquiring Waffle House stock. Since it was founded, Waffle House, Inc. has been owned and operated by its associates. Offered solely to company associates, the Direct Stock Purchase Plan, Management Options and Career Options are profitable ways to share in the success of the company and plan for retirement.

Vacation

Waffle House unit managers are eligible to take a week of vacation after six months of service. Once put in charge of a restaurant, you will receive three weeks paid vacation each year.

Insurance

Waffle House offers major medical, dental and life insurance you can sign up for the day you start working, with coverage starting 30 days after enrollment
