It is a long road and a long love affair, this thing Jimmie Faye Johnson has with the Waffle House.

At the same store, too ... first when the Waffle House came to Anniston just a couple of blocks south of its present location. And, from beginning to now, Jimmie Faye Johnson has been singing out orders to cooks and keeping the coffee hot for 44 Waffle House years.
