Diners were asked to call ahead and make reservations. Grape juice was served in champagne flutes, and candles in heart-shaped holders were on each table. Pictures were taken of patrons and placed in special Waffle House photo frames.

One Waffle House location in each division is picked to host the candlelight dinners each Valentine's Day. This is the second year the Whiskey Road location has been involved in the event.
